Villa Santana is in the municipality of Mijas in the heart of the west side of the Costa del Sol.

The enclave stretches down from the Mijas mountain range to the sea across a countryside of hills and gentle undulations. The mountains create an abrupt landscape softened by the pine trees that enhance the slopes.

The area is a contrast of the traditional image of this part of Spain and the enormous change brought about with the tourist activity.
